POSITIVE LEGACY

Positive Legacy, the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arm of Cloud 9 Adventures, is committed to integrating live music and service by taking actions that positively impact the communities we visit. Positive Legacy’s mission inspires music fans and artists to collectively take action and build a better world. The goal is to develop service activities that people can participate in to bring a deeper sense of purpose to their travel experiences and the music surrounding it.

Day of Service

Thank you to everyone that joined us on the 2019 Day of Service at Xcacel, a local turtle sanctuary. We worked hard protecting, educating, and supporting the flora and fauna in their community, on the beach, and in the surrounding jungle. Our Day of Service consisted of many service projects: sorting micro-plastics from the sand, clearing space off the beach to build a picnic area, and building a fence to keep people from stepping into the delicate ecosystems. The sun shined as we enjoyed fresh local food, Spanish guitar music, and swam in the beautiful Caribbean Sea!

Information on the Panic en la Playa Nueve Day of Service will be sent to all booked guests later this year.

Charity Auctions

We are thrilled to announce that Positive Legacy raised over $60,000 in the 2019 charity auctions! Thank you to all of the Widespread Panic fans who bid in the auction and made this a record-breaking auction, with the most money raised at any event!

Auction proceeds will support Positive Legacy’s continued environmental & humanitarian projects in Mexico, including our work with Xcacel. Big thank you to the musicians and their management, fans, and artists who supported the auction with custom donations. Information on the 2020 auctions will be released prior to the event. If you are interested in donating an item, contact Positive Legacy directly.
